About the Experts
Simon Daly, a 29-year coatings industry professional, is Group Oil, Gas and Thermal Power Segment Manager for Hempel, based in the UK.
He is responsible for development and implementation of group strategy within oil and gas upstream and downstream markets, as well as the thermal power segment.
His key responsibilities include product management of new solutions, implementing specific high focus product-related projects and supporting sales strategies at a group and regional level.
Simon also represents Hempel on key industry bodies, in particular those relating to corrosion under insulation.
Chris is Group Product Manager for hydrocarbon Passive Fire Protection (PFP), at Hempel. He joined the company recently, in December 2017.
Prior to Hempel, he worked for three years at PPG, traveling globally.
There he provided technical support for PPG s hydrocarbon PFP products in the EMEA region. In that role he also provided PFP product training to both clients and PPG sales teams.
Chris graduated as a Civil Engineer from Sheffield University in 2014.
